Wanna help out? As the Festival grows, we are still growing both our volunteer base and our event offerings… We’d be delighted if you could get involved in either way!
You could do random acts of bikey-ness during the month of June, which may include: providing information at a table on the Bikeology: Festival Day, hauling gear to and from events, coordinating Mockails on the Bridge or the ride-in outdoor movie, promotions and publicity, etc. We also need several volunteers to help with Bikeology Festival on June 18. There are a myriad of jobs ranging from set up and tear down, helping the children’s entertainer, or running the pedal-powered smoothie machine, etc. etc. etc.
OR… you could host an event, as we don’t have the monopoly on all things bikey things in Edmonton … options for events include a World Naked Bike Day ride (oh, yeah), a parking meter party, a midnight bike ride, a rousing game of bike polo, some other bikey thing you already have planned… as you can see, opportunity abounds……
If you have something you want to see happen cycling wise in Edmonton, and want to put it on our calendar or cross promote, LET US KNOW about it… we’d be delighted to get the word out…
